Harajuku
I created Harajuku as it’s own page because it is different enough from Shibuya to warrant this. Harajuku is part of Shibuya and I will provide links to it on the Shibuya page also. Harajuku is probably best known for it’s kawaii and lolita shops along Takeshita street directly opposite from Harajuku Station. Although the make shopping is now dominated by chain shops you can still find kawaii and lolita fashion by taking a step off of Tekshita Street.
If you follow my walking guide below and hit the major attractions in Harajuku make sure you stop and Ichiran Ramen and get you Ramen fix.
How do I get to Harajuku?
Take the JR Yamamote line or Metro to Harajuku Station. Harajuku Station sits between Shinjuku and Shibuya Stations. You can walk to harajuku from either Shibuya or Shinjuku stations if you want.
Here is a walking map from Sangubashi Station on the Odakyu line through Meiji Park and down through Takeshita Street and Cat Street and ending at Harajuku Station.
