Galaxies Edge is the Star Wars area of Disneyland in California. There is also a copy in Hollywood Studios in Disney World in Florida. The Disney World Galaxies Edge is planned to have an immersive hotel. If you are a star wars geek and want to experience it while in California this and the redwood forests of Endor are where you go. From eating food and drinking in a rebel bar to making your own lightsaber and getting a pair of Jedi robes you can do it all in Galaxies Edge.
When you enter Galaxies edge it is unlike and other Disney attraction, you feel like you are actually on the planet Batuu. There are two main rides, Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon – Smugglers run. There are numerous shops and restaurants to sate your hunger and drain your wallet.
When to go
Galaxies Edge is the current hot attraction at Disney Land. Go during the middle of the week if possible and at Park opening. If you want to ride Rise of the Resistance you will need the Disneyland park app and you will need to try and get a ride slot in the app.

How to get there
If you stay at a hotel near Disney or on property you can take a shuttle. Otherwise you should plan on driving and parking in the Garage.
Hours of operation
Check the Disneyland app as hours change with the season. But typically opening is between 8am and 9am and closing can be as late as 10pm.
Cost
This varies on when you go but typically it’s about $100. You can get discounts for multi day tickets.
