2020 Pandemic Trip Day 2, Little Italy and the Gaslamp District

On Day 2 we spent most of the day working in our AirBnB only going out for lunch during the day. It was nice to work from a different location where we could be safe and still feel like we were traveling. In these times we all must do the little things to help keep our sanity especially if like me you are working from home full time and can’t even go into the office.

For dinner we decided to go up to Little Italy and find a nice Italian place. Just like the Gaslamp District most of the restaurants were doing outside dining along the sidewalks and into the street parking area. This meant there was limited parking but more open seating. We were able to find a nice place with distanced seating. We left our masks on until our food came and then only had our masks off while eating.

We walked back to the Gaslamp district around 8PM and I filmed the walk from the Little Italy sign to the Gaslamp district sign with my DJI Osmo Pocket and a stereo audio recorder. Look for that video to me on the Youtube page next week and when it is public I will embed it here also.

We did have one hiccup in that Sue left her purse at the restaurant and we had to drive back to it in the car to pick it up before they closed.

We watched some Netflix before going to bed.

Cheers,
